Replacing the battery in my old iPod Mini
While unpacking I came across my old iPod mini and it didn't work! Back in the day I replaced the battery using a Maplin replacement kit and for some reason I still had it along with the original battery.

So I thought..no harm done if I stick the old battery back in. I followed the instructions and removed the top and bottom covers and took out the insides.

It was fairly simple to swap out as the battery has a plug..

I reassembled it and to my surprise it started to charge.. good for a few more months or maybe years..
